Honest Feedback and Critique  > Jim Pope  > Feedback & Critique > Feedback and Critique
This gallery is reserved for images submitted to the "Honest Feedback & Critique Community". I realize I'm too close to my work, and I often I find the images I like best aren't that well received by others. Conversly, some of the more popular ones languish for years until they are"rediscovered" by accident. So, please feel free to tell me what you think about any or all that you see.

Thanks,
Jim

This is a part of an on-going series of old commercial signage I'm working on. Some of these are little works of art, often kitschy, but interesting to me. There are a lot of abandoned car dealerships right now, a great but rapidly vanishing source of material.
Blue Train
This was shot in an older European train station (Gare Lyon). I originally had my wb set to cloudy to warm it up with the idea of making it grittier, but I later decided a cooler wb worked better for this particular image.
Rear Window
A slightly voyeuristic photograph, this is from an old lodge hall that was being converted to a residence. It's located in coastal Maine, a great location for all sorts of photography.
Central

The remains of a passenger train car in an abandoned rail platform. This car was a commuter car with both benches and overhead hanholds.
More in a series of roadside signs. This one was demolished abou a week afte I took it.
From a closed Pontiac dealer. This was taken with the overly trendy Holga as I am experimenting a bit with getting back into film.
An abandoned car lot, shot with a Holga on Fuiji b&w asa 400
From a cathedral in Lisboa. I added grain (noise) and sepia until it sort of reminded me of a woodcut.
Flying Wolf: as seen above a gate in an unusual garden
